Over the past ten years no other scientific field has shaped our understanding of how we think and act more than neuroscience.

Our new course ‘Discovering the Wisdom of Neuroscience’ will take you on a journey from head to heart. You will learn how the brain functions and interacts with the environment through the senses and how these experiences shape our thoughts and actions.

Why learn about neuroscience?

With a deeper understanding of neurological and emotional processes, we can begin to relate to ourselves and others with more compassion and discover more choices to live with intention and purpose.

Who is it for?

For those with a personal interest in neuroscience. For those who are looking to learn more about how understanding aspects of neuroscience can help them support others, for example facilitators, teachers or those in the helping or supportive professions.

How is the course delivered?

Together with facilitator Ceci Buzon, we have developed a completely new course format which blends weekly online sessions on Zoom with additional weekly self-study components delivered by email.

There are two options available depending on your personal and professional interests.

Participants who can’t take part in the live online sessions have the opportunity to view session recordings and take part in online discussions instead.

The Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdowm (FDCW) operates an affordable pricing policy with standard, concessionary and sponsor rates available. If you are unable to afford the concessions rate, please let us know. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds.
