Who are we?
The Network of Wellbeing is a registered charity (no.295976), which connects people, support projects and inspires action for the wellbeing of people and the planet.
Our StoryTo us wellbeing is:
- Inclusive – because everyone deserves to have equal access to the things that support our wellbeing.
- Collective – because we can’t have wellbeing alone – our wellbeing depends upon our relationships and the communities in which we live and work.
- Systemic – because wellbeing needs to be embedded in our economies, governmental policies and throughout wider society.
- Sustainable – because human wellbeing relies upon the long-term health of the natural world.
Why does wellbeing matter?
Wellbeing matters because it shapes how we feel, think and act – in other words – it defines every moment of our lived experience. Wellbeing goes beyond the absence of illness to include physical, mental, and social health. Good wellbeing boosts our life satisfaction, builds daily resilience and supports long-term health. When we take small actions to improve our own wellbeing, those around us and the wellbeing of our environment, we are working towards a shared vision of a collective, sustainable, systemic and inclusive present and future for people and the planet.
We believe this is the way we can solve some of the biggest crises which humanity currently faces. Small changes implemented by many for the many can change the world.

VISION
Our vision is people and the planet thriving together.

MISSION
Our mission is to connect people, support projects and inspire action for the wellbeing of people and the planet.

VALUES
We value:
Collaboration, Compassion and Transformation.
We do this by:
- sharing events, information and wellbeing opportunities
- building a network of people who are passionate about wellbeing
- running Eden Rise, a retreat venue in beautiful Devon
- running and supporting community projects, such as our Share Shed;
a mobile library of things for people to borrow a variety of items.
Our Patron, Satish Kumar, explains more about us in this video below:
“The way to healthy living is to shift from quantitative economic growth to quality of life, food, water and air – to shift from craving to contentment and from greed to gratitude.”
~ Satish Kumar: Peace Pilgrim, Environmental & Spiritual Activist, Patron of Network of Wellbeing
