Created by Centre for Thriving Places (the new name for Happy City), the Thriving Places Index is a robust reporting framework that shows the conditions for wellbeing across 373 the local authorities in England and Wales. It radically challenges the current paradigm that defines progress by economic measures of consumption and wealth creation.
Be the first to hear the latest results and join us as we present analysis from the data, and discuss what the findings mean for us local policy makers, value-driven businesses, social organisations and individual citizens.
Join us for refreshments and networking from 14:30 for a prompt start 15:00.
The event will feature a range of leading wellbeing economy practitioners who will:
- Highlight pathways to action for local authorities wanting to put wellbeing economics into practice
- Reflect on what the Thriving Places Index can tell us about regional and national priorities, strengths and challenges
- Share best practice and innovative ideas for taking a place-based approach to wellbeing.
Please get in touch if you’d like to talk with us about accessing a full data set for your local authority ahead of the launch.
Places will be limited so register early to attend.
The venue is wheelchair accessible. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served.
This event has been sponsored by our partners, Triodos Bank.
