Libraries of Things (LoT) all over the world offer an opportunity for people to borrow useful items, such as tools, gardening equipment, household appliances and much more, at a low cost.
With many models and ways of operating, such initiatives can offer a real opportunity to support communities to thrive whilst being kinder to the planet.
If you’re interested in setting up a similar project or are already in the middle of it, and would like to chat with someone who’s been through the ‘ins and outs’ of this journey, join Mirella Ferraz, the coordinator of the Share Shed – A Library of Things, in the UK, for an informal chat.
This is not a workshop as such. Rather, it’s an opportunity to clarify questions, share information, and bounce ideas with each other.
Here you can watch a webinar that was run in partnership with CAG Devon on how to set up a LoT.
This is event is free, and we’d greatly appreciate if you could make a donation towards the Share Shed here.
