One of the aims of the Network of Wellbeing’s work is to co-create and promote activities that demonstrate the value of strong and connected communities. Through these activities we seek to improve community cohesion and enable people to improve their wellbeing.

We’re proud to have our organisation based in Totnes (Devon, UK), where over the years we’ve developed a number of projects:

Share Shed – A Library of Things:

The Share Shed is a library of things, where instead of books people can borrow all sorts of useful things ranging from ladders, drills, camping and gardening equipment, house appliances, musical instruments and much more at a nominal cost.

Totnes Wellbeing Fund:

The Totnes Wellbeing Fund supports individuals and community groups in Totnes and adjacent parishes, helping them to turn great ideas to boost wellbeing into reality. Because a small change can make a big difference, we’re keen to support initiatives where a little input from us (up to £500) could really enhance personal, community and environmental wellbeing.

Community Potlucks:

The Community Potlucks are regular events, which provide the local community an opportunity to come together and share a meal, with everyone contributing a delicious dish. These regular events have proven to be a great opportunity for people to connect with each other and have fun! It’s free to attend and no booking is required.

Through this local work we have connected with many wonderful local organisations and kind-hearted volunteers who have all contributed to our community work in valuable ways. We are extremely grateful for all the support we’ve received.
