For this week’s community listening space we will take the opportunity to explore our innate connection to the natural world. Sharing stories and experiences about our relationship with nature is a profound way of celebrating and deepening our connection with it. Listening and connecting with memories of places, sights, and experiences are ways of rekindling our gratitude and re-enchantment with the natural world.

This will be an open and welcoming space, so it doesn’t matter if you’ve been to many listening spaces or if this will be your first one – either way you’ll be supported to feel right at home.

This listening space will be co-hosted by The Heart Movement and Network of Wellbeing.

Wellbeing Statement
A Listening Space is sometimes referred to as ‘Brave Space’. Listening to others’ difficulties and joys and/or sharing our own may touch on our vulnerabilities. This can be very supportive and healing, and it can also be challenging. We invite you to share only what feels ok to share – for you and others in the group – and to not to push yourself too far emotionally. If you are holding very heavy issues or trauma we encourage you to make contact with dedicated mental health support.

It’s important to know that a Listening Space is not therapy and the facilitators are not acting as therapists in holding the space.

By reading this statement, you confirm you understand your own responsibility for your mental and emotional health when joining us.
