Have you wondered who else is thinking about how NHS, local government, social enterprise and charities can best contribute to healthier and happier communities?

Or how to radically change the current fragmentation of the health and social care system into addressing complex needs in simple ways?

Ever wondered what a conversation between Jos de Blok, Hilary Cottam and Cormac Russell about this might produce?

Or what conversations between people like Stephen Burke, Kathy Evans, Alex Fox, Donna Hall, Jerome Harvey-Agwei, Mark Hoolahan and Maff Potts might contribute?

We’ve been thinking a lot about all that  – but that’s not all!

We also want to tell the world about how we’re bringing the Buurtzorg way to Britain and Ireland, particularly with our partners in the EU-supported Transforming Integrated Care in the Community project.

Next thing we knew, we had a plan, a date and a venue:

Now we just need to add the most important ingredient of all: YOU!

Join Us To Explore:

  • how Britain’s history of district nursing inspired Buurtzorg and how in turn it’s inspiring
  • how public services need to change to support community action and participation
  • what intergenerational community action looks like in practice
  • how the self-managed teams we’re supporting focus on person-centred care and prevention;
  • how the Buurtzorg approach could make a difference to how you work and the work you
  • what frontline can staff accomplish for clients with more time and simplified systems
  • and much more!

We’re updating the programme details all the time, so if what we’ve told you already hasn’t convinced you, come back soon for more. But don’t leave it too late – there are 200 places available and when they’re gone, they’re gone!

EARLY BIRD TICKETS are on sale now, and the first 50 people to register will receive a free copy of Camilla Cavendish’s seminal book about our ageing societies, Extra Time
